Two levels, one room under the roof. The living and sleeping areas are arranged one above the other. At the center is the living area with a sofa and a small kitchen. On the window side is a raised platform with the dining area. From here, the view extends to the castle hill of Hohenaschau Castle. A steep steel staircase leads upstairs. It ends at the gallery beneath the roof trusses—the sleeping area. An elongated skylight spans the entire depth of the room, bringing light all the way down. The bathroom and toilet are housed in a compact built-in unit beneath the gallery. Clay plaster, exposed brickwork, untreated wood, birch plywood, and black steel details define the space.

Suitable for solo travelers and couples, families, small groups, and workation stays. For arriving and staying together without rushing.

Our bed linen made from half-linen is manufactured in Germany in the Swabian Alb region. We provide each guest with a duvet measuring 155 × 220 cm, a pillow measuring 80 × 80 cm and a smaller pillow measuring 40 × 60 cm.

You will also find cosy warm blankets made from pure alpaca wool mixed with merino wool in every room.

There is no oven in the apartment.

Kettles, espresso pots, toasters, mortars, woks and a large teapot can also be borrowed from our supply station. All apartments with a kitchen is equipped with basic supplies of salt, pepper, sugar, tea and coffee.

Drinks can be purchased in our ‘dunkelkammer’ in the basement.
