Bergfried | holiday apartment

The name Bergfried is no coincidence. This holiday apartment, located in the top floor of our house, extends significantly upwards. The living and sleeping areas are spread over two floors, and both the bed and the dining area offer a direct view of Hohenaschau Castle through the long skylight. The bathroom and toilet are located below the gallery. The small kitchen is suitable for both beginners and advanced cooks and invites you to indulge in culinary delights. This holiday apartment offers everything you need for an authentic and relaxing holiday in Chiemgau.

Our bed linen made from half-linen is manufactured in Germany in the Swabian Alb region. We provide each guest with a duvet measuring 155 × 220 cm, a pillow measuring 80 × 80 cm and a smaller pillow measuring 40 × 60 cm.

You will also find cosy warm blankets made from pure alpaca wool mixed with merino wool in every room.

There is no oven in the apartment.

Kettles, espresso pots, toasters, mortars, woks and a large teapot can also be borrowed from our supply station. All apartments with a kitchen is equipped with basic supplies of salt, pepper, sugar, tea and coffee.

Drinks can be purchased in our ‘dunkelkammer’ in the basement.
