Eating and drinking in and around berge
What does it take to be happy? Often less than you think. That makes it all the more important to us that the quality is right. A few select restaurants and shops in our area share this commitment just as we do. That’s why we wholeheartedly recommend them.
Hirzinger
Hirzinger in Söllhuben, 9 km away, is one of our favorite restaurants in the region. Not only because of its incomparable Kaiserschmarrn and down-to-earth Bavarian cuisine, but also because the old parlor and cozy beer garden are among the most beautiful in the region.
Schlosswirtschaft Wildenwart
Schlosswirtschaft Wildenwart offers a more refined atmosphere. The daily changing menu ranges from local game to char from our own farm, depending on availability and season.
Landl
If you like things young, fresh, and a little different, you will find the Landl restaurant in the Landlmühle in nearby Stephanskirchen. The lovingly compiled menu never ceases to surprise.
june.
In june. in Übersee the menu is enhanced with a star, alongside a modern, light atmosphere. one tip: you need to book early.
Alpenrose
At the Alpenrose in Samerberg, the food is as pleasing to the eye as it is to the palate. This applies to the lovingly prepared dishes as well as the view over the Samerberg Filze and the Wendelstein. Since we are not the only ones who appreciate these places, it is always advisable to make a reservation.
Stubn
The culinary highlight of the mountains! Located in the Frasdorfer Hütte, everything is possible here, from a simple snack to a full evening meal. The menu follows the rhythm of nature. The ingredients come from friendly producers and from our own agriculture and forestry. From berge, experienced hikers can find their way to the Stubn via the Hofalm in about 50 minutes.
Lima
And if you don’t feel like getting in the car but still want something a little different and light, take a leisurely 15-minute walk to Lima in Aschau. The menu is based on French cuisine, combined with the chef’s own ideas.
Quality, regionality, and seasonal adaptation of the restaurant kitchens are a given in all our recommendations.

Biosennerei Hatzenstädt
If you are looking for the best ingredients to prepare a delicious snack, don’t miss the Hatzenstädt organic dairy. The milk comes from cows on the surrounding alpine pastures and is transported to the dairy by cable car. To ensure the best milk quality, the cows are not fed silage even in winter, but exclusively hay and grain meal.
Hofladen Irmgärtchen
The farm shop at the Irmgärtchen vegetable garden is well worth a visit, as is the Ramsl family’s mill shop in Frasdorf, where time seems to stand still.
South Tyrolean Berggut shop
A select range of delicacies from the other side of the Alps can be found in the South Tyrolean Berggut store in Aschau. The interior alone is worth a visit—here, too, you can take a seat on furniture by Nils Holger Moormann.
