berge stands for independence and self-sufficiency — but with all the necessary comforts. Our services and specials offer everything you need to make your stay with us in Aschau im Chiemgau even more enjoyable.
First arrive
You will receive your personal key code with your booking confirmation. This opens a small compartment next to the front door where your key is stored. The key fits the main house, your accommodation, and the storage room in the garden where you can store bicycles or skis. Check-in is possible from 3 p.m., check-out is by 11 a.m. at the latest.

Self-catering in the vacation apartment or going out?
There is no restaurant in berge, but there are small, fine kitchens that are equipped for comprehensive self-catering. Only the Bergebude and the Vorderstübchen have no kitchens and invite you to have breakfast outside the house. The kitchens are equipped with everything you need to conjure up a delicious meal. We are happy to give you shopping tips and tell you where to find authentic Bavarian delicacies. Bon appetit!

Breakfast service
We are happy to offer a breakfast box upon request and advance order. The contents are sufficient for 2 people and 2 days. The box will be placed directly in front of your accommodation in the morning: total price €50.00. Please feel free to contact us regarding further options.
Refrigerator service
Don’t feel like shopping? We are happy to stock your refrigerator in advance with delicious organic products from the region upon request.
Snacks to take away
We are happy to prepare a snack box for you to take with you on your excursions. Simply pre-order on site for the next day.

Good to know
Cleaning
Everything will be freshly cleaned before your arrival and, of course, after your departure. Towels, bed linen, and cozy bathrobes will be waiting for you on site.
For long-term bookings of 5 days or more, we offer interim cleaning and fresh towels on request.
With dogs
Dogs love mountains. And mountains love dogs. However, not all of our guests feel the same way. That’s why we have reserved three accommodations with separate access for our four-legged guests and their companions: Sommerloch, Gartenzwerg and Zaungast. On two legs or four.
Facilities
There is no television or telephone in berge. Instead, each accommodation has a small, exquisite library with classics and favorite books. The literature room Literatenkammerl also offers all kinds of stories to discover and immerse yourself in. And for those who don’t want to be completely cut off from the world despite being on their own: Wi-Fi for digital globetrotters and workation fans is available in all vacation apartments.
In addition, all our accommodations offer a wide range of kitchen utensils, high-quality bed linen, towels, and toiletries to make your stay complete.

Kettles, espresso pots, toasters, mortars, woks, and a large teapot can also be borrowed from our supply station.
All accommodations with kitchens are equipped with basic supplies of salt, pepper, sugar, tea, and coffee. Beverages and small delicacies can be purchased in our “Dunkelkammer” in the basement.
Our semi-linen bed linen is made by a German manufacturer in the Swabian Alb region. We provide each guest with a 155 × 220 cm duvet, one pillow (80 × 80 cm), and one smaller pillow (40 × 60 cm).
In addition, each room has cozy warm blankets made of pure alpaca wool mixed with fine merino wool.
